Shelby graduated at the master level in improv from Bang Comedy Theatre & Institute in Los Angeles where she trained with Emmy award winning writer Peter Murrieta(Wizards of Waverly Place). Peter went on to cast her in a season of the long running live improv annual show, The Periodicals.

Shelby has also trained with Wendy Alane Wright(CEO of The Hollywood Winners Circle), James Ciccone(The Irishman/The Joker), Jessica Houde Morris(owner of The Houde School of Acting), Cary Anderson(previous acting coach to Emma Stone & Jennifer Lawrence), among others.

Shelby is currently an advanced Meisner Technique student at The Houde School of Acting and continues training with a variety of industry professionals throughout the year.

Shelby recently booked a lead recurring role in a pilot, as well as, a recurring role in an upcoming superhero tv miniseries!

Her dream is to be cast as a series regular is a comedic sitcom, be an elf in Lord of the Rings & play a dynamic villain like Loki.
